What's Your Story?

Image
We all have a story ... those thoughts we play through our mind that combined form our reality. In Philippians 4:8 Paul speaks of these thoughts and how they work in our lives. Philippians 4:8-9 The Message (MSG) 8-9 Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies. I heard famous author and teacher Earl Nightingale say it this way once "you are the sum total of your thoughts to this point in time". Take a minute to look at your own thoughts, what do they say? Are they speaking praises or curses? If your not sure of your story or thoughts, take a look at the reality you are living, wh...

An Amazing Word from my brother in Christ Tom Tompkins

Image
I'm always blessed with revelation from brother Tom please visit his web site at:  Winlight Ministries ( http://wlmi.or )  Take a minute to enjoy this teaching below: Universal Error: Exposing the Lies of the universalism Doctrine (By Tom Tompkins) Let's face it, satan is obviously not the brightest bulb in the chandelier. After all, he made an attempt to over throw the Lord and we all know where that got him. While he is not too intelligent, he is smart enough to know that he should never poison something that people will stay away from. After all, if a person wanted to kill another, they would not poison a piece of dog poop and then try to get their potential victim to eat the poop. Instead, they would poison a steak or a souffle. In essence, the devil has tempted many Christians to buy into different belief systems and methods that may seem Godly, spiritual, and appropriate in their nature. The problem is that their foundation is not b...

Jesus' Servant Leadership

Image
Hello all you faithful God Followers ... I have taken a while off posting to fulfill my role as called by the Lord to study and teach servant leadership. Below is an interesting example of an article I've found on the subject ... enjoy! The King Who Led with a Towel – Jesus’ Servant Leadership Role Model by Rick Sessoms and Colin Buckland on October 4, 2010 in Church Leadership , Organisational Leadership , Role Model , Servant Leader , SL The teachings and life style of Jesus are significant in the Christian’s life. He is the essential role model for how we seek to live out our lives. It’s interesting, therefore, that his model is often sadly neglected when it comes to aspects of church and organisational leadership. He was the prototype of Christian leadership. “The King Who Led with a Towel” is a three part article that examines Jesus’ leadership style and example. It is extracted from “ Culture Craft ” by Rick Sessoms and Colin Buckland and Rick’s original 2003 pape...
